Accounting Assistant
Whitehouse area, NJ
You MUST have SAP finance experience. The job general accounting functions include:
- Creating and Posting Journal Entries
- Creating of Fixed Assets
- Depreciation of Fixed Assets
- Retirement of Fixed Assets
- Creating weekly payroll files
- Payment of vendors utilizing Corporate Purchase Card
- Bank Reconciliations
- Process Purchase Requisitions
- Process Vendor Invoices
- Create and print vendor check runs
- Assist in Year End functions
- Assist in the costing of finished product
- Various tasks as assigned by management
- Answer phone, filing
The following skill set is required:
Intermediate knowledge of relevant computer software and hardware applications (Word, Excel)
Possession of very good communication and organization skills
Accounting Degree preferred, not required
Knowledge of SAP Finance/Controlling highly desired
Knowledge of Costing of Finished Product preferred, not required
Knowledge of Paychex payroll programs preferred, not required
